The fact that it lives up to its name "Simple". I qualify myself as an excellent developer, but that doesn't make me a good system manager. This is a talent I need to outsource. My cloud provider is my day-to-day "talent", and SimpleBackups" are my backup "talent". They're the specialists, they do one thing, but do it well, very well indeed. Backups aren't hard, but they are annoying to do right. Using some Tier-1 cloud providers solutions (like RDS) are great because they can do backups easily. But, the trade off as vendor lock-in. Vendor locking is something we're greatly trying to avoid, so simplebackups ended up being a great solution to easily solve the backup problem in a vendor agnostic way! It is easy to use and set up, intuitive and make data back up trouble free. It is also versatile whereby the back up data is securely placed in storage providers of choice and a very accessible and reactive customer support. It was an easy UI where we can placed the backups for ur complete infrastructure like Database,Snapshots,Droplets (digitalocean). It was easy to setup the and onboard the complenents in digitalocean Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest disadvantage is that the free plan only allows us to choose a single component, such as a droplet, snapshot, database, or disc, for backup. If you want to add additional tasks, you must purchase the premium plan, which is somewhat more expensive.
